Melt's Unique Approach

Melt wants good chocolate to be accessible to all - therefore the shop is open plan where you can "pick your own chocolates" with a wooden try and tongs or ask our shop assistants to select your favourite chocolates for you.

We only use fresh, natural ingredients. We don't use alcohol - a natural preservative that is often used by chocolate companies to extend the shelf life of their chocolates. Our chocolates are fresh and don't contain either sugar or alcohol to extend their shelf life - so enjoy Melt chocolates within 10 days - that shouldn't be difficult!

Melt is a leading light in the chocolate revolution - bringing the sight, sound and smell of true artisanal chocolate making to our customers - hence we have our kitchen located both in our Notting Hill and Holland Park shops. You can watch our chocolatiers at work and discuss the latest recipes and techniques with them.

We have brought the kitchen right into the shop - so you can enjoy the theatre of making chocolate - and see the sights, sounds and smells of chocolatiers at work. This team is highly skilled and watching them at work is a fascinating and somewhat intoxicating experience.
